Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

These things are a different price every week in my local, ranging from €2 to €4.50 on a regular basis.

Not sure what's going on with Innocent as a company but they must be having problems shifting units, really nice products but not worth the guts of a fiver tbh.

Pretty good value (relative to their normal prices) but really frustrates me the way Innocent reduced the size of their cartons below the 1 litre "norm", so like-for-like comparison with other products is slightly more complicated. Same with their plastic juice containers where it's less than a litre, so even if the same price as the likes of Tropicana you're getting less for your money!

Back to the smoothies, the green one (or snots as I like to refer to it!) is delicious!

Especially as they reduced it from a litre to 750ml and kept the same price...

I heard an ad on the radio, I think they are half price everywhere for January (open to correction on the end date through).

They used to taste nice but just think they are playing people for fools with there packaging...there 'family pack' is 1.2L

With orange juice I now perfer aldi valencia and it taste better and is in a 1lt bottle

I will never pay full price for any innocent product, they aren't worth it. I do watch out for the fairly regular special offers though.

If you shop around you should never need to pay more than EUR2 for a litre of the main 'non cencentrate' juices (e.g. Tropicana, Dawn, Innocent) excluding smoothies. Helps if you have space in the fridge to stock up though.

they can do this yoyo pricing now that coca cola took a majority stake.

they're trying to make it a much more bigger product, then when people are hooked they'll jack up the prices again :)

probably fuelled by the "get healthy" buzz of January too...

Took a look at the Aldi smoothies earlier and they are from fruit purees....not sure about the Innocent ones though as it doesn't explicitly say in their ingredients.

    stuff in general
I was shocked yesterday how much stuff had increased in price
and how many two for one offers were there but offers my arse

    same as that
was forced to do tesco yester as couldnt get to aldi

must be a thread here for this somewhere, naming and shaming

3.49 for a punnet of blueberrys which cost a little under 2euro in
    aldi or lidl
loads of this kinda thing littered around the store which really annoys me
robbery to name just one item

I think these smoothies are just awful. Must better and cheaper to whizz up your own smoothies and home made taste way better too. I read somewhere that these smoothies are laden with sugar so much healthier and cheaper to make your own.
The ones you make at home are as laden with sugar, natural sugars from the fruit. There's nothing added to the innocent ones, why tell lies?

Well they are pasteurized which can reduce vitamins and nutrients. And while there is no added sugar they do use fruits such as grapes and apples as a natural substitute. If you want a strawberry and banana smoothie you are not going to put grapes in it if made at home. Not specifically talking about innocent as I'm in the US and haven't seen them here.

Well the food is tested and the values are shown on the side, it doesn't seem that the process does it much harm. The only harm done by them is to your wallet.
