Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

West Ham: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Collins, Tomkins, Potts, Vaz Te, Collison, Diarra, Joe Cole, Nolan, Carlton Cole,

    As above.

Should be a good game,an early goal will be vital. Interesting to see Rafael playing in midfield. Hernandez will score from a Kagawa assist.

On ITV for anyone who doesn't know.

buttner left wing? or 5 at the back?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,845 ✭✭✭Hidalgo

Ist game back for Kagawa, if he hits into a groove he could be a major benefit in time for Utd and Joe Cole is home
    1-1 final score

Raf on the right wing I'd say

He started against West Brom and was subbed in against Wigan.

    He will be vital today.

3-5-2 possibly? With Rafael and Buttner as wing backs?

    Would live to see that.

Subs; Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Valencia, Giggs, Young, Van Persie, Macheda

Rafa in Mid with Smalling at RB.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

    Would love it to be:

    De Gea
    Smalling-Vidic-Evans
    Rafael
    Buttner
    Scholes-Cleverley
    Kagawa
    Welbeck-Hernandez

    But it's probably:

    De Gea
    Smalling-Vidic-Evans-Buttner
    Rafael-Cleverley-Scholes-Kagawa
    Welbeck-Hernandez

West Ham win here and going all the way to lift the cup. This could be an FA cup classic.

I really dont like 3 at the back, prefer a 4-4-2 over that everytime

think we will miss carrick and will need the help of the bench to get through

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,878 ✭✭✭RayCon

stroll in the park for Utd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭Chancer3001

Lads be wary, we are the only game on now so if we aren't playing well we will have a few of the others coming in to tell us.

Does the gate money get shared for FA Cup games?

£7.5k prize money from the FA for the winners today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,844 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

I reckon it will be 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-1-1. I hope it is! If I was a neutral it would be interesting to see Utd play 3-5-2, whens the last time we started with that formation?

Meh, I'm gonna make some tea and watch the game and hope the team plays well without any injuries. Keyboard warriors can't touch me!!!

My random word today is meringue, use it wisely

Sure they would be in even if their own team was playing the same time :pac:

I hope Trilla's word of the day becomes a regular feature and we can then make a story out of them. Forklift and meringue so far...

I hope so, we're desperately in need of the money after Spurs ripped us off for Fryers.

A bit short I think. 4 goals or more would be a good bet imo.

United would need to be wary of Cole today anyways

He spent the last 2 years stressed the people would find out he was impersonating a professional footballer.

Great player and all he was but why do UTD fans sing the viva Ronaldo chant still?

Surely he will be doing his best to knock UTD out of the champions league soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Yep, it nearly went behind him.

Anyway, seems like we're showboating after 5 minutes at 0-0. Maybe not the best idea.

    FYP.

    ;)

Seriously though United fans sing about Ronaldo because he was an absolutely phenomenal player who won everything with us, is now one of the elite 2 players in the world and manages to compliment or mention Manchester United and 'family' in the same sentence almost every interview he does. Love him. Viva.
