Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not a great game. Started well but West Ham looking more dangerous as the game goes on.

A very entertaining game for a neutral. Both teams strong in their respective attacking tactic. Aerial for the hosts and counter attacking for the visitors. Both teams look like scoring with bad defences.

That Joe Cole lad looks like a prospect.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Jesus....Joe again.

Hernandez must be p*ssed off playing with Welbeck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,508 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

    Poor, poor defending.

    Boards will definitely crash now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

    Where was the marking?!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

    ****ing bull**** defending again

its not good enough, Scholes had no interest in going with Collins at all, no tracking players, no marking. **** off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,909 ✭✭✭Neeson

Maybe Cole can do anything Messi can.

Why can't we get basic defence 101 right?! It's a shambles!

How many assists does Messi have in the FA Cup?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,139 ✭✭✭Red Crow

Lol didnt Joe Cole receive a pay off from Liverpool?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

We should have RVP on simply because he's able to head a ball out of the box!

    Five less than joe!

RVP and Valencia on it sees.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,694 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

Funny build up. West Ham could've broken away after the Kagawa chance, but they were slow, ponderous and not threatening at all. But they keep the ball up that end, suddenly fire in a cross to a centre-back and score...
Jesus Andy Townsend is very hard to listen to.

He seems fixated on whether De Gea had any chance or not

I don't think we could have done much against that. Our three best defenders were marking three of theirs. Collins was unmarked but it was a great cross and an even better header.

    Valencia is a sexy beast.

How many assists does Messi have in the FA Cup?

How many assists in general does Messi have in 2013? Joe's on course to break the all time record.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,928 ✭✭✭dubmick

    I'd bring on Young too.

it's about time someone invented proper nasal tampons for this sort of problem.

    Scrap the cap!

    Joe Cole, what a player

must be frustrating as hell for De Gea

Lol at Townsend saying some players happy to pick up big wages but not Joe Cole.....very little evidence of that over the last 3 or 4 yrs IMO

Dafuq is with Townsend and Tyldesley and their man love fest for Cole? "He's in it for the football not the money" "You'd have to knock his block off to get him off the field." A light breeze would injure him. Only reason he's back at his boyhood club is because no one better wants him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,909 ✭✭✭Neeson

Surely it should be welbeck who should be taken off, not Hernandez.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 32,865 ✭✭✭✭MagicMarker

RVP to score from this corner.

edit: make that the next corner.

Kag having very little impact so far. I'd be hauling him off tbh.

Laughable comments from Andy. £3.5 million pay off from the Pool to join his 'boyhood' team.

Some of Hernandez's general play was outstanding today. I'd say he wanted to punch Welbeck at times.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,909 ✭✭✭Neeson

And there were a few boos with the substitution. Or was those from west ham.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,928 ✭✭✭dubmick

He should bring Young on for Kagawa but I reckon he will bring Macheda on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭Chancer3001

    Kagawas been awful.

Why the hell did fergie play Rafael right wing?

Young or Valencia the obvious choice

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 32,865 ✭✭✭✭MagicMarker

I hope Valencia rapes Pepper Potts.

He wouldn't be the only one. Welbeck is too selfish.

Not looking forward to seeing Vidic against Suarez next week. Vidic seems to be afraid coming up to the ball and seems content to see Evans do all the grafting in front of him. I think he may need another couple of weeks until he's comfortable but for next week I'd play Rio.

    Close Welbeck.

Maybe if he was given the ball at all it would help, he's having to drift wide just to get it because none of the United players have confidence playing a ball through the middle.
