Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ffs Wellbeck, time your jump

Kag has been alright, if he was used correctly he would be a lot better, some of his passages of play earlier were very nice

Maybe if he was given the ball at all it would help, he's having to drift wide just to get it because none of the United players have confidence playing a ball through the middle.

And the ball wasn't going through the middle in the first half at all? His touch has been heavy the few times I've seen him in the ball.

In an ideal world itd be Welbeck off and Kag up behind RVP
    /back to reality

I'm sick of saying it but Welbeck will never be good enough for United. If we can persuade someone to give us £5m+ for him we should snap their hands off. We won't of course, but we should.

In fairness to West Ham, they have packed the middle, left no space there and United have no width of course, then they score from a couple of headers, text book game for them.

Giggs isn't bad when he comes on as a sub. In a full 90 he just doesn't have the legs but when he came on vs swans for example when we were chasing a winner he was our main creative threat.

I do agree this season if he even lasts the whole should and will be his last.

That's harsh. He's a good player and will only improve. Considering the likes of Sturridge are going for 12 million, 5 million is an insult for a player of Welbecks calibre who has far more in his locker than the likes of Sturridge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,844 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

Rafael wasn't that bad, he's back to RB now lets see
Welbeck is worth well more than 5m
Kagawa despite not getting the service he expects has not played well. Just as I type another heavy touch.

    Come on United!

Kagawa is not a central midfielder, playing him there is pointless

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Welbeck is playing like a player desperate to score a goal, trying to get shots in when he'd be better off trying for an assist.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,909 ✭✭✭Neeson

I'd say that Sturridge is of better talent than welbeck.

    Vidic....idiot.

    Vidic has been poor tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,844 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

Well done Vidic, clown. Why do that there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

    No need for that Vida

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,645 ✭✭✭theoneeyedman

Very poor performance from Vidic and Kagawa today.

Second game in a row he has played there now. The sooner Carrick is back starting the better.

3rd or 4th time Kagawa has had a terrible touch, clearly needs more games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

    Vidic and kagawa look rusty

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

That will go down as a poor touch from Kagawa if you ignore Giggs lashing it into him of course for no apparent reasoj

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Kagawa has been no worse then any united Plater out there, bar Hernandez who was our best player by a distance.

His touch is awful, yet everyone blabs on about we don't know how to play him or nobody gives him the service. Thats the fourth time he's been unable to control a pass.

Well I don't have any proof. Just by looking at them I suppose. But then Sturridge probably has played a bit more often than welbeck.
