Love the white choc one... It's milkybar choc and soooo good!

Are the flavours just on the outside on the chocolate part?

Not sure if the coconut one would work

For the mint and coconut ones, yep, it's just the chocolate that's flavoured, but the hazelnut variety has a layer of hazelnut-flavoured creme above the wafer and I imagine the chocolate fudge one is similar.

Edit: just checked, yes, layer of fudge. Looking forward to trying some of these.

Hazelnut sounds good, sort of like a giant ferrero rocher.

Never thought of that. Can't imagine it'll be anywhere near as nice as Ferrero Rocher though :)

    Had the coconut one
    loved it :)

    I've tried all four.

Coconut: Strong scent of coconut as soon as you peel off the wrapper and coconut to boot in the bar itself. Delish.

Hazelnut: The best of the lot; reminded me of Kinder Bueno which is not bad thing.

Mint: Accompanied by an overwhelming sense of nostalgia when I remembered that I use to eat Mint flavoured kit-kats in primary school. Pretty decent.

Choc Fudge: Not my thing really; t'was the only one I left half-eaten.

Blast from the past!! There was orange ones too!

I'm looking forward to trying the Hazelnut one.

Haven't had either, but apparently the Choc Fudge is just a rename and reissue of the Double Choc version that was one of the four contenders in the previous Choose a Chunky Champion competition last year.

    Sneaky.

Perhaps it was pretty popular then though, so they decided to give it another shot at the prize.

Had one today and thats exactly what it tastes like from the first bite.

    Coconut one is nasty :(

Coconut one was in no way coconutty enough! I could barely taste it :(

Coconut was the major disappointment, that seems to be the consensus!
I was expecting a nice a layer of coconut but no, all you get is a vaguely coconutty flavoured chocolate!

Hazlenut is pretty luscious, Mint was my personal favourite!
Choc fudge next on the list..

Hazelnut was damn fine, so as the choc fudge. Mr Fox had the coconut and gobbled them all up before I got the chance for a bite. Haven't tried mint and I'm not that pushed anyway.
    I still love peanut butter.

Just finishing off the Hazelnut as I type this and I'm really not at all impressed. There's a slight hint of a weird artificial sweetener/synthetic type aftertaste. Very off putting and disappointing as it's the one I was most looking forward to. Do like the mint.

Where is everyone finding these? I've been keeping an eye out in the local shops, including Tesco, and haven't seen them anywhere yet - absolutely mad to find the hazelnut one!

My local Spar in Maynooth has them, it's the only place I've seen them.

Supervalu is the only place I have found them.

Mint looks like a runaway at this stage...

You could always try smearing nutella on a regular kit kat. I had peanut butter spread on the back of a twix the other day, -gorgeous.

Nutella is pretty similar as the centre of ferrero rochers, if not the exact same. Ferrero make nutella too.

Does sound weird, but don't knock it till you try it!

People associate peanut butter with bread, crackers or maybe toast, but peanut butter kit kats were in my top 3 bars of all time.

    EDIT:
    they already made them!

    twix-peanut-butter-1.jpg

    http://www.chocablog.com/reviews/twix-peanut-butter/
The format is the same as a standard Twix, but with peanut butter instead of caramel and a chocolate biscuit instead of a white one. The peanut butter smell instantly reminds you of a Reese’s Cup, but there’s a difference. Reese’s tends to be on the greasy side, but the biscuit part here protects against that. It also adds an element of crunchiness, but I still find I prefer this new experience to Reese’s. It isn’t bad on its own, either, if the sugar doesn’t bother you.

There’s barely any chocolate taste hiding in there, though, but that’s okay since Twix doesn’t claim chocolate extremes. It’s only the addictive flavors and textures that carry this one through.

I will try it some day I have both to hand, I like both singularly but the liquidness of the PB is what seems strange

The upper edge of peanut butter jars are usually drier. The oil can tend to separate and accumulate down the bottom.

You can get meridian brand peanut butter in health shops which is 100% peanuts, or just with added salt. Many supermarket ones have added oil and/or sugar to make it more spreadable. The meridian one separates into oil & drier peanut butter after a while, it even says on the tub that it might need stirring.

I finally got to try these! The local shop got them in, so I've spent the last week or so trying them.

    Mint - delicious!
Hazelnut - I expected more, tbh. It's lovely, but I was hoping for more of a Nutella-type layer. It wasn't hazelnutty enough for me.
Coconut - I actually liked the pretty subtle coconut flavour
Choc fudge - disappointing. Wouldn't eat again.

I'd vote for either mint or hazelnut, I'd say.

I'd have to say I didnt really enjoy any of these,

But to rank them I would put coconut 1st

    1-Coconut
    2-Hazelnut
    3-Mint
    4-Choc Fudge

Isnt mint available in the 4 finger already?

hazelnut is the best by far, coconut is very disappointing!!

This round of flavour promos (choc fudge, mint, hazel and coconut) is massively disappointing.
