I'll almost definitely be at this again. I'll almost definitely loose to Roogle again, too (twice if they make it double elimination; that was a huge oversight last time; pools were 1 game and everything after than was 2/3 single elim).

    Registration is now open:

£15 for the whole weekend - same as last year.

Yo I'll be there this year. Q-con's always a blast

    Console gaming timetable released:

    http://q-con.org.uk/node/118

    Fighting game tournaments:

    Friday evening:
    Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (360)
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 (PS3)

    Saturday morning:
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (360)

    Saturday afternoon:
    Street Fighter X Tekken 2013 (360)

    Sunday morning:
    BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend (PS3)
Super Smash Bros Project M (Wii)

    Sunday afternoon:
    Skullgirls (PS3)
Super Street Fighter IV AE (360)
    PS All-Stars Battle Royale (PS3)

Some pleasant surprises (yes, I'm referring to the Skullgirls tourney). Of course, there will be plenty of other fighters on freeplay over the course of the weekend.

Shame the sticks on the mame setup never get fixed so that garou swag pigeon can steal the show proper.

You have to go Dave. That tourney will be yours free.

Wait, Garou has a 360 slot on Friday night, score.

I have to question the logic of putting the most reviled capcom game in the slot that always gets the most players...

And SSF4 late on a Sunday with two other fighting games. Swap the two imo.

I don't see Third Strike anywhere on that list.

Don't go, Dave. I'd have to kick your ass with Link, and I'd hate for you to travel so far just for me to make you cry.

I wasn't thinking about going before, but I might have to after this!

Just got home - will have pics and video later.

    FG tourney winners:

    TTT2 - The Truth
    UMVC3 - Lythero
    SFXT 2013 - The Truth
    BBCSX - SADX
    Skullgirls - Christopher Bryant
SSFIVAE 2012 - didn't see the end of this and I'm not sure the winner was even announced at the closing ceremony, but I think The Truth won this
    Injustice - SADX
    P4A - can't remember his name, sorry!

One thing I'll say right now is that it didn't seem as well organised as previous Q-Cons, but that can probably be chalked up to Q-Con growing faster than anyone anticipated (over 3000 attendees this year). Still had a great time, as always.

I didn't even realise it was on...

Yeah, I totally forgot about it. Ended up being busy, anyway but still sorry I didn't make it.

    Did Project M go ahead/have a winner?

    Did Project M go ahead/have a winner?

Apparently not. I think it was replaced by Melee.

Full list of tourney and competition winners is here: http://q-con.org.uk/node/137

Well, I say full, but it still has the wrong guy down as the winner of P4A and there's still no mention of the SF4 tourney..
