There's a storyline in Killzone? I just thought it was a pretentious avant garde piece about different shades of grey and brown destroying each other for some reason.

Pft... the Helghast wear black and the ISA an olive green so :p

In fairness that's what I though about all killzones too. This one though looks like a lot more then cover based first person shooter. Watch a few SP trailers. It's interesting.

Looks like another amateur blog that's making truths out of half truths.

They stumble over their words, clearly don't proofread and "a rep from Sony" told them?

    Calling shenanigans on that one.

I think you can dim it, but it apparently has to stay lit as it's the power indicator.

Remember my uncle bringing me over from of these from Japan and using it with FF8, it looks like the PocketStation is being relaunched again with a reveal next week. As it stands I am not sure what the hell it is going to do, but it looks like a tie in with the PS4, possibly a new app, we will just have to wait and see, the video is hilarious if you watch it.

I really don't understand the article....it looks like it's contradicting itself in a few places:
The future update that is in process to be rolled out shortly after the PS4′s launch(November 15th) will include the following detailed features listed below:

    - Legacy headset support
    - Mp3 support for not only in-game but non gaming as well.
    - Suspend and resume play feature

All of these features are set to hit PS4′s consoles by late 2013- to early 2014. Which we hope Sony will deliver sooner upon

late 2013-early 2014 is shortly after launch, companies would even consider it launch window.

The launch window is between Nov 15th and the end of March for the PS4.

    Some news on Res0gun
    File size:
GearNuke: The recent install size for PS4 games like Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall has caused quite a ruckus. Given that Resogun is a digital only title, can you give us any estimated install size for the final build of the game?

Seppo Halonen: There is nothing to worry about there. The game is well under a gigabyte, so size-wise we are rather modest.

    Talk about AA and lighting:
GearNuke: What form of anti-aliasing and lighting system are you using for Resogun?

Seppo Halonen: When it comes to antialiasing we are using FXAA. The lighting system is 100% deferred with HDR, SSAO, dynamic shadows and all the jazz with some screenspace reflections and dynamic color grading thrown in as well. We believe this is the first 60fps console game with all that.

    Chances of a Vita port?
GearNuke: Is it even possible to see a stripped down version of Resogun on VITA?

Seppo Halonen: The right question is, would it still be Resogun?

Might do. I know nothing bout the xbox, interesting to see whether it'd be worth having a second console.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

I'm looking forward to giving the Xbox a go, but I'm not one for going to those types of events. I'll probably get to have a go of one around Christmas. I'm sure I'll pick one up when a good exclusive or two comes out I want to play.

Does anyone have a link to a good video comparison between PS4/One gameplay? I've read all the reviews, watched a few videos but don't really see it myself.

I'm putting this down to either watching crappy videos or watching them on my phone.

I know the differences are there but haven't found a high quality video.
