A launch date would have been nice.
No talk about the Hard Drive etc although we may learn that over the next day or 2.
No PS Eye included? not clear. Fine by me if it isn't!
No longer free to play online but so what if Sony can keep up the value for money PS+ offers.

Sony were practically perfect there bar the nitpicks. Loved how they respected the PS3 install base and just how they gave an old fashioned dissing of the opposition!

Just thought i would pop in to wish you Sony fanboys congratulations on what looks like an amazing console.

Now to go back to crying in the corner and wishing that Nintendo would get their bloody act together.

The tax with varies throughout the EU is included for prices in the EU they have to.

They did really well, ripping into Microsoft was brilliant. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of exclusives tho.

I would like to find out if the PS4 will take a SSD and can you replace the existing HD. The rest of the technical details would be very welcome like read speed. Did you notice the lag ?

Epic E3 for Sony. They can look back on this in years and be proud and smug at the same time. They bored the crap out of everyone with the PS3 E3 with tech demos and specs then hit them with a €600 price tag and no games.

Just in-case anyone wants to know Sony has put up a press release on it's corporate site.

Just confirms 500GB hard drive, doesn't say if it's replaceable but I would say that it will be and that the Playstation Camera is not included in the bundle.

Also the RRP of the Dual Shock 4 is €59 and the camera is €49.

Right being impartial here is what I thought of the PS4 reveal

Positives
PRICE!
No DRM
No change for second hand game sales
Indie games is a huge thing, big plus over time

Negatives
No Gaikai for at least 6 months and probably later in Europe
PSN no longer free
Launch games extremely weak

Looking at both consoles the only game that made me say Fc*k ya I want to play that is Titanfall and thats on PC so why bother getting either console ?
Will take a look this time next year

I see the camera is officially extra at €49. Is it worth it ? I have a PS Move and rarely use it. It was good for games like Heavy Rain but does not offer any new ability in games, its more of a case of having to learn and remember existing capabilities that you can do via dualshock.
