Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

I have just got a new iPad and have been setting it up. And the way Siri says my name is completely wrong. Is there any way of me being able to change the pronunciation? If so how????

    Thanks a Mill.

Have you tried spelling your name phonetically?

Just tell it. "my name is xyz" It will then add that phonetically to your contact information and use it from then on. This is the same as teaching it who your wife, mother, etc is (ie it adds those to the contact information) so that you can use those terms for texting etc.Occasionally it seems to revert to the original name but mostly it gets it right. Having said that, my name is one that can be pronounced differently but has two common spellings that work anyway - Niall/Neil.

If it works, ask it what your name is - you will get a "your name is x, but you have asked me to call you "y")

I've just done that and it is still wrong! I probably just have a very odd name! :)
