Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is the treatment of every action of Luis Suarez racist and a form of bullying.

Bear with me on this. Its quite hard to describe in great detail over text on a forum. But I'll give it a shot.

I'll start off by saying I am a Liverpool supporter and feel that the continuous harassment of Suarez by the English media, pundits and on social media sites such as facebook and twitter is appalling.

Suarez being called a cheat on the back of all the rags this morning is mild compared to some of the things coming up on social media sites about him but yet there is no talk of cyber bullying in the same sense of KPMG girl we seen over the weekend or indeed a recent case involving Fabrice Muamba.

Every week in the Premier League we see incidents of blatant cheating. Something as simple as a keeper getting a finger tip to a ball and it being given as a kickout but the goalkeeper not holding his hands up and admitting he tipped it to handballs and diving. These incidents may seem trivial at the time as they don not directly result in a goal But it seems to me that every little move Suarez makes in being monitored and dissected.

He scored a cracking goal last week by staying on his feet after being fouled one similar to Theo Walcott and got far less plaudits for it.

When does match coverage and reporting cross the line, I believe with Suarez it has. Who could blame him if he left at the end of the season.

Its the way the media works and always will work. They need a pantomime villain for the mobs to feed off. It was Beckham for a while, Rob Green, Di Canio. John Terry is arguably more hated than Suarez

Shame about yesterday is people were starting to appreciate him as a footballer and this is just another stick to beat him with. Cant be nice for his family.

Such is the fickle nature of the media dont be surprised if in 5 years he is loved ala Di Canio a declared facist

The KPMG girl didn't bite anyone in that video.
