RTE Player on xbox?

    Is it possible to watch players such as rte through the xbox?

    Sadly, at the moment - no


    4od is available, and BBC player but you need to do some tinkering to get that to work.

    An Rte Player app has now just been released on 360. There is an ad for it on the home page showing Damo & Ivor

    Seems to be similar to the other video apps on 360. Wasn't able to view any content on it yet though as the connection to the rte servers kept crapping out.

    Watched some Damo & Ivor on it last night. Very little content on it thus far, hopefully they'll add more.

    It's almost as bad.
    The interface is better and I assume the Xbox won't go to sleep half way through a program and dim the screen.
    But the program selection is just as rubbish as the PS3, pretty much RTE produced programming only plus neighbours and home and away.
