Thought Welbeck was pretty good against West Ham and he was excellent against Liverpool at OT last season. Not unhappy to see him in the team at all. Plenty of firepower on the bench if it doesn't work out.

That United central defense lacks pace which is concerning. Especially against a pacy Liverpool attack and Suarez will be well pumped up for it.

Not surpised Welbeck starts. Ferguson often starts homegrown local lads for the biggest derbies because he knows how much it means to them. Plus he will give it a hundred percent for the full match.

Just disappointed Nani is not on the bench.

Chico is a great asset to bring of the bench and can change a game.

Very happy with that United line up, with the likes of Kagawa Cleverley and Young to link up with, I think Welbeck could play some great football today and surprise a lot of you.
Only disappointment is no Nani on the bench.

Also what's with the groans over Welbeck? He offers more on the wing than anyone on our bench at the moment. Until Valencia shows signs of remembering how to dribble, cross and y'know, be a winger, I'd prefer to see Welbeck out there.

Great chance for Sterling to shine to be fair.

I'm a seller of Rafael's defensive abilities and Wellbeck is nowhere near as good as Valencia defensively.

Evra is going to be so important giving us width down the left as well as remembering his defensive duties. Against West Ham, we tried to put all our play down the right and Rafael and Young didn't quite click with each other on that occasion.

Surprised at all the people bemoaning Welbeck starting, its not like its Macheda! His general play has been good and he links up great with Cleverly, he just isn't getting the goals but being played out of position isn't helping. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him have a good game today.

And Hernandez on the bench is hardly the worst thing in the world, who better to bring on if the game needs changing?
