Vidic and Ferdinand starting could be a huge mistake for United against Suarez IMO, his pace will cause them trouble all day and i fully expect a penalty for Liverpool. Ive backed Luis and Gerrard for first goal, im a lot more confident about one of them getting a goal than i was before the lineups were announced.

He needs support though. Iirc he was very isolated last year in this game.

Sterling will help out there, as will Allen. And having Sturridge and Borini on the bench is a big plus for us.

My aim isn't for United to beat Liverpool. It's for United to topple Barcelona and to dominate Europe.
