Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Should be 3 or 4 nil

Carrick has been best player on the pitch by a distance.

Liverpool have done nothing in this game, not at the races at all, lucky to be only 1 down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Surely that was a foul on Reina

wisdom was the one who nudged him into Reina

    That was reckless from Kagawa.

WTF was the utd player Kagawa doing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,510 ✭✭✭✭noodler

The ineptness of the performance is staggering.

A midfield of Carrick and Cleverley utterly dominating Lucas, Allen and Gerrard.

I could nearly shoot Allen for some of his passing.

Brad Jones is gonna win us the game. You heard it here first.

Lovely touch by Rafael off the long ball on that off the line move.

Please don't be Brad Jones today...

Nudge from Wisdom sent Kag straight into Pepe. Looked sore as hell

Who will be the first to say Reina has to leave the pitch because the medics came on?

If something isnt working then change it ASAP, whats the point in letting it go on for an extra 20 minutes? I remember Mourinho doing it a lot at Chelsea

Mourinho changed tactiics and line-ups due to opponent's stifling them not because a player made a mistake.

People seem to be forgetting that Liverpool are playing a team who are top of the league and make it very difficult for them.

Kagawa was running on to the ball but I think Wisdom's touch on him made Kagawa run into Reina. I highly doubt it was intentional anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Wisdom nudged Kags into Pepe, just an unfortunate collision.

Dreadful stuff. I know he's only a young lad, but he needs a few weeks out of the side imo.

B rod will need to make atleast 2 changes at half time or switch it up, were flogging a dead horse here trying to play as we are.

Its nothing to do with Allen making a mistake, he hasnt been good enough and hasnt show any sign of improvement since the 15th minute.

Do you not remember that ad for milk years ago with Ian Rush and a kid talking about Accrington Stanley.

My post was a reference to that time (the 80s) when Liverpool were successful.

I'm genuinely shocked at how bad Liverpool are. As Dunphy would say, a rabble. Allen looks as bad a signing as Carroll. Not only do they have no money, but when they do have money, they p..s it away.

Liverpool could do with getting Sturridge and someone else on for Downing and Sterling.

    Lucas yellow. Was coming tbf.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,510 ✭✭✭✭noodler

    F*** sake Lucas.

His tackling has been uber lazy since he came back.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

    Lucas yellow.

The pitch really is rather shoddy. I thought Utd had fixed the problem of drainage/drying years ago.

If United decide to continue on playing then yeah.

Dunno why united fans are booing webb blowing it up, scoring into an empty goal with the keeper half unconcious on the floor would be beyond controversial

How does young get his feet so high in the air when he is "tripped" at ground level?

Not saying he wasn't fouled but am genuinely interested from the context of mathematical modelling of gait analysis. It just never happens like that in my models, even with changes to the normal boundary conditions.

If United decide to continue on playing then yeah.

Really? You'd be fine with Liverpool breaking up the pitch and scoring into an empty net with the goalkeeper injured on the floor?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Well the good news is that it's only 1-0, the bad news is everything else.

Because he blew it up when United were on the counter attack. Why not blow it up when Liverpool were attacking?

Poor game, thought it would be much better but I can't really talk as Norwich Newcastle was atrocious yesterday.
