Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"I don't see you running to the funeral that is my life!"

The script is so soapy, full of silly dramatic strops.

Characters from the show were interviewed by Ray D'Arcy the week before this started. Jack and his wife.

They sold the show as being centred around them and how their property development was in the sh*tter.

So far, they've been in it less than any other characters. :P

Methinks Emma's gonna end up out of her gourd by the end of this episode...

Probably end up climbing the side of the house to get in or something. :P

I missed the opening episode but after reading this thread I decided to tune in to see the show for myself. Don't really see what people are finding funny about it, the whole thing is just badly made and I'm finding tonight's episode fairly boring.

Speaking of which, i'm noticing a distinct lack of people jumping over walls in this episode...

No one in Limerick seems to have a Limerick accent. Must be a posh pub.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Emma stole the poor fella's Sprite. This show is hilarious.

The Producers will read this and scream 'I knew we didn't have enough cutaway shots of Galway this week :('

Thought the angry pub man was David McSavage for a second. That would give the show some cred. Not that it needs it.

Last week's episode was 50 times worse than this. And entered "so bad it's good" territory, with a lot of genuinely hilarious unintentional stuff.

This week's is more professional IMO, and I'm enjoying it thus far.

Am I the only one who thinks the funeral was in Limerick? A shot of the Ballysimon Road near the prison, then looking at St John's castle across the river.
Looks like no where in Galway I can think of.
Plus Emma needed a lift, if it was Galway she could have got the bus.
