How to make a pie?

07-01-2013 7:17pm#1Im addicted to smoked applewood cheese and chorizo so want to make a pie with cheese chorizo and chicken. Got a few Ramekin yokes so was just gonna but the filling in and then a layer of pastry at the top. Ive never made a pie so dont know what to do, do I have to add something to make the filling creamy or do I just put in chicken chorizo and cheese? Also for the pastry do I need shortcrust or puff pastry. I havent got a clue
