Can l copy a song from a music DVD?

Got a music DVD for christmas & theres a version of a song on it il really love to put on my ipod!!

l dunno if this is even a stupid question....is there anyway l can copy the song from the dvd on to my computer or ipod??

You can probably find the song on youtube and then go to http://www.listentoyoutube.com to download the audio to an mp3 file.

play it off the dvd, record it with http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/

get the 'lame' mp3 encoder (lamenec.dll)so audacity can make an mp3 for you
