    Folks, can anyone tell me what breed this tree is?
    Its non shed.

    Looks like Noble Fir, but I'd await confirmation from someone who knows for sure.

    have a look at the attached ID sheet to see if you can pin it down.
    Non shed may mean that it has been sprayed with somthing to keep the leaves in place.

    Nordmann Fir?
    The closeup with the curled lip is what I'm looking at.
    If you look at the underside of the needles- the two stomal bands are another distinguishing feature.
    We did import a lot of seedlings from Denmark from 1996 onwards.
    I'm only guessing though!
