Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi,
my dad gave me his old iphone 3 and i'm having problems trying to put any new apps on it (his ones on it don't work). the OS is 4.2.1 and i know this is the problem from reading other threads on here. do i need to jailbreak (just learned about this term in the last few threads!) the phone to be able to update the OS to a higher version or is this even possible on the iphone 3??
    thanks

I am astonished it runs 4.2.1 in any kind of usable way. I had an iPhone 3 and when I upgraded to iOS4, it slowed to snail pace. I had to roll back to 3.1.3.

Plug it in to iTunes and it will update to whatever your iPhone can run.

Which is 4.2.1 which means it can't run newer apps. I don't think there is any work around for this.
