alarm relay for lihjting on alarm activation.

    hi lads, ive got a hkc alarm and want to incorporate lights switching on upon alarm activation, what type of relay do i need and what rating can this relay take ( can i get one to light up outside sensor lights) thanks in advance

    Generally 12 volt DC relay rated at 10 amps would be sufficient for up to 4 500w halogens . With LED taking over you could do much more. For higher ratings use a contractor.
