Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can't remember the makers name of a black biker jacket popular in the 80's. It looked a bit like a Barbour jacket! Anyone got a better memory than me?

I had one, bought it from Mountjoy Motorcycles in the mod 80's not sure who made it.

Bloody things had to be waxed in winter and stank in summer.

....if waxed, it was probably a Belstaff.

If leather.........gosh, could be anything: Lewis ?

Ah yeah, Mascot I had one, bought it in M&A. Black with bright orange lining. With a white AGV cx5000 and the baffle out of the YB100, I thought I was just a click away from being marlon brando.

I could never understand the attraction of them tbh - manky and now expensive as well.

I prefer modern textiles, although I've changed back to leather pants lately and a Goretex jacket over.

Just before Christmas I bought a new Triumph jacket on line and it looks traditional, but is in fact, modern. Win-Win ?

    Something like this ??

Hmm looks like one of those dodgy Chinese sites with pictures stolen from the real one, text by Google translate, will take your order and send you either nothing at all or some piece of crap worth about a tenth of what you paid.

    Scrap the cap!
