Hi, this might not be the right forum, but I didn't know where else would e suitable to ask.

So I found this caterpillar thing on my pillow this evening and I have no idea what it is, neither Google nor Wikipedia could help me.

It might have come in from the washing line, or it mught be sonething more sinister, but I just need someone to put my mind at ease by identifying it.

It's slightly transparent, with a yellowish tint, and black inner organs. Its got a red face and is about an inch long.

Sorry that the photos arent great quality.

    Thanks.

I'm no expert but I'd imagine with the recent mild weather it probably did come in with the washing or got carried in on a pet if you have one. It doesn't look like woodworm or anything sinister.

The photos are blurry, but it does look more like a maggot than a caterpillar.
