I need to repaint my hallway and bathroom. Problem is that there are quite dark, the bathroom has no windows and is half tiled around bath with white tile and the floor is blue and pale grey checks. The hallway is dark and we currently have dark wood flooring.

Is it worth me buying the reflective? paints or are they a waste of money?

    Anyone any suggestions on colours??

Use zinsser anti mould and mildew on the ceilings and wall, best paint for that situation.

Use light colours (there's a reason why magnolia is in even new build and rental)

Also use mirrors to maximise day light, a large mirror in the hall and bathroom will work wonders.
