Tablet with USB port

    hi, looking for a tablet with a USB port that can connect an external hard drive to to play movies etc...
    any recommendations?

    The Google Nexus 7 supports USB OTG via an app called "Nexus Media Importer" - you need an OTG cable though, available for about €2 from ebay

    I think you also need to be rooted

    You don't!!
    Mine isn't rooted and I use the USB function every day!
