    what can you expect to pay monthly for accommadation. i mean if your working and your trying to save money what the general price range people find suits them???

    That depends on the location. You will pay more in the big cities than the suburbs for example.

    It is for sure more expensive than here. Also most rentals do not include furnishings. Some do though if you look hard enough but usually cost more per month.

    ya iv had a look on craiglist before so im just wondering whats kind of feasible in relation to not over spending on accom. seeing that a place can be $2000 pm i a bit daunting

    Mate iam going same place but i am looking to move in to a shared house as i am a 23 y/o going to Calgary solo. and i have been looking at Kensington/Sunnyside and for a room in a house there its about 400-600 a month:)

    id be gin with my gf so kinda lookin for a place for us, trying to find somewhere thats nice but for as cheap as possible

    yea i no what ya mean bud. suppose your taking 1500-2000 then a month and nearly all of these will be unfurnished. so its going to be a fair chunk of money.

    Some here in the $1000 to $1300 range not from Calgary so dont know areas but that should start you off

    Beware of scams though ie really cheap downtown apartments and people who want cash up fromnt before you even see the place
