I ordered a jiayu g4 (not advanced) phone from Mixeshop on Sunday & received the following message today

They say they sent out two by mistake & will hold in UK.

Has anyone ever had something similar happen?

They just ask the courier to 'hold' the parcel, if you say ok and pay for the second one they release the parcel again, if not they get it returned to them.

Imagine they never caught the mistake......ah sure try bargain them down, if not im sure they can open it for you and remove one.

I ordered a Inew 3v phone off them on the 17th and its still processing. On their chat, they asked for $20 to use UPS and it will be dispatched immediately.
Chancing their arm on both accounts I would imagine.

Ehhh no. You get a parcel with one phone in it or no phone in it. You decide when you open it whether there is one in it or none in it!!

That is why they won't ask the courier to open it, take one out and send it back to them and send the other one onto you.

They will simply ask the courier company to cancel the delivery, return the parcel with the 2 in it to them, and then send you out a parcel with one in it.

I don't think that I would be willing to pay for the second one until I received the parcel, as what if the mistake was not on your order and you only get one, and somebody else got the two in error ?

How long does your order take to show up on the EMS website. Got the tracking number yesterday morning and it's still not showing up.

I made a balls of flashing the lenovo arghhhh trying to fix it now.

Got it sorted with a stock rom now loads chinese crap etc trying to flash cwm and root but it doesnt bring up the zip files in recovery Anyone know what to do?

Try putting them on the the phones internal storage instead of the sdcard storage,or vice versa

Well Jaiyu are entering Europe. I believe they have a German website where you can purchase directly from them.
There also opening a German store

Jaysus, the Jiayu G4 advanced is 260 euro.
I bought mine for 220 I think back in Oct from Mixeshop.
They could do with lowering the prices a bit
