Anyone have any luck getting one of these Chinese phones repaired?

I have the same phone and problem as blackwaves below. I dropped it on pavement couple of weeks ago (landed flat on its back)

I took it into a couple of repair shops in Galway, but they don't touch Chinese phones. :(

Question for those in the know.
With the dual sim functionality, is it possible to have one sim running for data and one as normal for general contact?
I will be travelling in France soon. I notice there are french operators that do good french data deals. Could I have two sims running simultaneously?? I have a Elephone P6s

FWIW, I'd recommend Prixtel for call/data packages

I’d go Jiayu all day long. They are well tried and tested on here. I never even heard of Tengda as a brand.

Besides the usual GPS issues, I can't fault mine.

2 for the Jiayu:D I kind of want a 5 inch screen hence the other brand but I really shouldn't be thick and stick with what I know.

I bought this phone, just got it last Thursday. Overall, decent speeds when playing games, fast accessing apps. But the battery life is not great, and the audio quality from the earpiece on calls is below average. It will do until my thl is delivered.

    Cubot X6

Just ran Antutu, score is 26832, Open GL 3D benchmark score of 3096.

Are GPS issues still present in the quad and octa core phones? Jiayu 4/5/6 specifically but in general?

2200mAh Battery, I have that on my Xiaomi now and I agree its terrible size for the processors now, hence why I want the Jiayu its 3000mAh

Essentially yes on G4 quad. But in the past couple of weeks it has been much faster in locating (but not actually locking on) and pretty accurately too.

I am waiting on delivery of a THL T100S, it comes with 2700mAh battery, the reviews say you can get all day from it without needing a recharge, which will do for me. It's not going to blow anyone's mind, but the price is right.

Here's a review video of it.

I have that phone , When I first got it I'd get home from work at 5.30 with still 50% left on the battery which was great but the last week or 2 and it's after dropping big time it be lucky to make it home with 20%.

Probably something easy I can do to fix that though.

I'm not sure if anyone else on here has got the octocore version of the G4 but I am looking forward to hearing a review on it in time.

I thought you were going through etotalk ? What made you change your mind.

Customs :pac: I knew I'd pay more with DHL on etotalk plus the Jiayu ROM isnt so bad tbh.
