Ok, me head is spinnin' ,,,, with all the choices to make...

From frequenting this thread, and picking up tips, advice etc, i guess i need the following - snapdragon, 2800+ battery, 13 mp camera, 5 inch screen, decent looks and a good price of between 80 to 150e delivered.

What ticks the boxes and would be a good buy for me? Help please.

Is 5 inch enough or would you go 5.5?

    Hongmi Note?

    Out if his budget.

This ticks pretty much all your boxes, apart from camera.
    Gets very good reviews.

You just missed it being on sale by about 2 days, but still well within your budget.

I always thought anything with snapdragon is a tiny bit more expensive than MTK, could you not stretch to 200?

Yeah, is that the one you just bought?

The red rice one is anice bit cheaper ~ is there much of a difference?

Yup received it on Friday and pretty impressed so far.

    It's about €160 from Pandawill.

But it doesn't meet his Snapdragon criteria, did you test the GPS Sam Mac or anyone else who ordered?

GPS is perfect. No problems with it so far, picks up my location very quickly.

Have you moved with it though? As in a car or anything?

Some MTK devices have been said to lose signal or be awful inaccurate.

I know from using my Neo is can sometimes put me a fair bit off from actual roads. Just something to keep in mind for the GPS users.

Used it in the car this morning, didn't notice any inaccuracies with it. I am currently using the Google Maps app.

Gps is not important to me. A good camera is.

Personally, I think the Redmi Note's camera (13mp) is great. The panorama feature is very cool too.

The average on chinese phones is 8-13 mp camera that suits me.

    How is the battery performing?
Does it have the same charger connection as a samsung?

Yup, charger is Mini USB as standard.

Battery is actually really good, 3100mah, charged it last night and I'm still going strong now, after medium use all day.

Haven't seen a phone with specs like that for below €300.

If there was, we'd all have one.

Maybe a xiaomi mi3 if 4G isn't that important. The lenovo mentioned here earlier too is a good choice is you want 5.5 inches, again its over budget.

the specs you've mentioned basically describes the one plus one, but that goes for over 300 easy.

Is that the phone? If so, it's only €205.

Has anyone here ever had to return something faulty to Pandawill? If so, what was the process like?

I'm planning on waiting until the next Nexus phone until I saw this...

    http://www.etotalk.com/lenovo-k910_p4401.html

It has 4G and KitKat which are the two main things I'm looking for.

The website says 4.2 Jelly Bean but GSMArena says an upgrade to 4.4 KitKat is available.

Anyone have any experience with this phone?

    What's it like?

Barring GPS what improvements do snapdragon processors have over MTK's

plus delivery. It's not 4G according to Panndawill themselves, whether they're mistaken or not i don't know.

Doesn't have a Microsd slot either.

It's hard to get everything you want in a phone isn't it? :P

Clock speeds oof the CPU. Generally better GPU's as well.

Snapdragon also release their kernels meaning more developer support, something that MTK doesn't which is one of its major downfalls.

Its not 4G. The Chinese version does not have 4G, saw it on a review video last night.

Same myself i think. Might wait for the 805 to become more mainstream, should see prices of the 800 and 801 drop a little further.

Aslong as 4G isn't that important, they're some great bargains to be got. Can get A Mi3 for just over €240 delivered with guaranteed no customs from mixeshop. Can compete with most phones on performance, design is not for everyone though.
