    Battery in the 3000s is better (ie bigger) and it is LTE while the P8 is not.

    also P3000s is cheaper! so yes, in my opinion the P3000s is a better option!

    Is there any problem rooting the 3000s ? Can you install custom ROMs are they not available ? I think the clones I got I won't be able to install a custom ROM.

    Get it from Etotalk they root and install a rom for a bit extra.

    Sorry one last thing if price were not an issue would yous get the elephone p8 or elephone 3000s?

    even though the P8 may be cheaper at the moment if it was me I would be getting the p3000s for the bigger battery and the 4G but that's just me!

    Looking for suggestions for a new phone. Looking to spend about 220 Euro.
    Something 4G with Android 4.4 with a 5 inch screen.
    The Jiayu S3 is coming out soon but other suggestions welcome.

    Have a look at the Meizu M1 Note (might take a little while to become available), Zopo 3X, or Elephone P3000s. ZTE Nubia Z7 Mini might be a bit over budget, but you might talk yourself into it for a Snapdragon 801 SOC. The Jiayu S3 looks pretty tasty, though.

    Pre sale mark is gone from the Elephone p3000s on etotalk so hopefully its sent out soon.

    I ordered mine from Gearbest. Got delivery of it this morning (well would have if I had the customs cash :-P)

    Not a Chinese phone, but just wondering if anyone had heard of the Indian-manufactured Micromax Yureka Yu? Under €115 for a similar spec to the OnePlus One but even harder to get hold of.

    Yes I've been reading about those too. They're sold in India but I haven't found any website with Intl shipping . would love to try one.
