Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. They are still using those three 'decorative' stars?

    Embarrassing.

Im in minority it looks like that I don't like either Celtic or City strips.

City have produced some nice shirts home/away though down years.

Adidas deserve some sort of award for the Milan strips of the last few seasons.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,905 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

United have the tablecloth again this year, relegated to the away strip though.

To be fair it actually looks a lot better than last season's home as there's less of a contrast between the blue and black.

Pretty hard to make red and black look bad in fairness.

Italian clubs generally have nice kits, to be expected I suppose.

As a utd fan, that jersey is horrible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

    Horrible IMO.

Why didn't they ditch the tablecloth pattern after last years fiasco.

then again, being a Liverpool fan, I can't say a thing about Jerseys.

at least ye have had some nice jerseys in past few seasons though. We have had some horrors the past few years.

Either they have been nice or shocking. Few in between.

Man City Away looks class, bit of Blackburn 'halves' in there .....nice

Chelsea third ...what? boring/yawn..someone got paid to do plain black with white details ???!!! poor.

Also the 2nd/3rd? Bayern>>> greyish stripes is pure class...some v nice Bundes League kits this year. :)

Better get used to them yourself now that Hibs have Nike. Consistently awful quality we have had since Nike started paying to make our kits. Aside from any arguments about the merits or lack of their designs the fit, feel and quality of the tops they produce is terrible especially when compared to what Puma and Adidas usually come up with quality wise.

I am delighted with our new away kit this season(pity about sponsor).

We have had some atrocious yellow kits down the years. We had a yellow kit from the 90's that had material that you only see on some table cloth. Horrible thing it was. I dont think I have seen worse jersey.

Our white away Jerseys have always been lovely. Wish we would stik to that or balck.

City have had some gorgeous kits recently. The one above is really nice but the Maroon one last year and the European away were gorgeous.

Mother of God that Napoli third. Horrendous.

  • Registered Users Posts: 300 ✭✭nickcave

I'm afraid yellow is typically their third strip, so I'm guessing that's the same. Which would make the camo their away kit. Yikes - Balotelli-approved...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,281 ✭✭✭✭ben.schlomo

Been waiting to see what Napoli were gonna have, disappointed in the away but im liking the yellow and blue.

It's a shame the sponsor ruins the Napoli away kit. Lovely kit otherwise.

The sponsor does ruin their kits unles of course they sell sponsorless versions. Hope your not talking about the camo top. I think that looks horrendous.

Is the camo one the away kit? I had assumed it was yellow and blue one.

Do Kappa still make jerseys ? I've noticed they're not doing any of the major clubs kits that they have been doing over the last few years. They make the best jerseys imo.

I got the season just gone Derby County jersey by kappa and I love their fittings... One of best jerseys comfy wise I have got...

Umbro are done, Nike completely asset-stripped them, no matter how they try spin it. Although they obviously 'forgot' to pick up Ireland on the way out.

Do a lot of the Italian clubs as far as I know and Derby in England.

Love their gear tbh. The Roma away kits last season were beautiful.

That camo shirt is a total abomination though.

As some have already said, they do Derby County's. They still do alot worldwide, the main ones being Sampdoria, Toulouse, Mochengladback, Torino and the Bulgarian National team.

From what I've read, in 2011 Umbro Ireland outbid Nike for the rights to continue manufacturing all FAI team apparel. This contract is to last until 2020, so unless Umbro Ireland go bust or the contract is bought out, then we will be seeing Umbro made kits for at least 7 more years.

Ugh. With all due respect to Umbro, they've gone backwards from their mini golden era a few years ago.

    Evian Thonon Gaillard by Kappa

The one in the middle is a cracker! The jersey's not too bad either ;) The sponsors totally ruin it though.
