Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We'll see them wear it less than 3 times more than likely, pointless having a 3rd kit. Although we all know why they release them.

EDIT: I assume Cox meant it was a 3rd kit not an away one.

Bohs home and away for 2013.

Home jersey is the exact same template as last year just with a new sponsor.

    Away is a beaut imo.

I agree but these 3rd kits are becoming a pure gimmick

The famous tangerine one from 97 wasnt worn much either, actually correct me if im wrong i think it only seen time in that famous Macedonia fixture?

International shirts becoming a con job

I think I remember them wearing the orange in a friendly v Mexico (at home!) too. That's when you know it's just a scam, when a team starts wearing the away jersey at home in order to advertise it.

BTW, this might be of interest to people who want to follow the history of Rep.Ireland kits (or just any team you might like) down the years. It gives diagrams right back to the pre-1920's 'Ireland' days when the country used to play in blue.

does Volkswagon sponsor every team in the LOI?

    I bought their away shirt.
(May have cheated a wee bit though)...I tried on the Kids Large and bugger me but it fitted, I've broad enough shoulders so it was a bit tight across the shoulders.
Tried on the XL Kids version and I was swimming in it. (I'm 5ft 11" and over 12 stone!) So I bought that one for 89dollars including tax.

I can wear it over a hoody If I felt the urge!:pac:

So yeah, moral of the story, kids sizes are friggin' huge over here, save yourself a few quid wherever ya can.

Shels, Bohs, Bray and Sligo plus Shamrock Rovers with Seat who are owned by VW. I read somewhere that they are putting more into LOI football than the actual league sponsors who put up minuscule prize money and nothing else.

Great site. Dave Moor is a highly talented guy. John Devlin has a good illustration book 'True Colours' out also and Ireland are in volume 2 for those interested in kit archives

The Ireland jerseys are a con job. It's a farce that you can't get them without the feckin' hideous logo across the front but also, we must be averaging close to more than a new jersey every year over the last 5-10 years or so.

And that new black one looks like a ref's jersey.

Is it the dealers that are sponsoring them more so than VW, hence the different dealers names, or is it just sly advertising.

I thought the away jersey Ireland had with the green top half and black bottom half was one of the nicest jersey's they've had for years. I think Ireland only wore it twice? The new one looks very poor.

Is it an actual Confederations cup jersey, or just being released before the Confederations cup. If it's the former that even makes the FAI look good.

I'm open to correction on this but if memory serves me correctly they had a jersey for the 2009 Confederations Cup that they only wore in the 3 games they played at that tournament

Your dead right. It was blue with brown shorts and socks. No surprising Italy played to match the colour of the shorts in that tournament and were on the plane home at the end of the group stage

Now the kit everyone has been waiting for, with biggest sponsorship deal in the clubs history (I knew you would be as excited about that as me)

Cobblers 2013/14 kit. Bit of a traditionalist, so not mad on the black away kit but still the classic claret home kit.
