Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. I don't see what the problem is with that city jersey, I think it's quite nice. I do like simple designs though, better that than some of the awful designs that nike in particular have used in the past few years.

Not a fan of the crest on the City shirt, how it's slightly raised off the shirt on a little island of material.

    Same template as Man Citys

Change to a round neck, blue and remove the shoulder stripe. That's all that's changed in their design since 06. Not alot of work put into 'new' design ideas.

Out of curiosity, would you prefer then went back to something like this.

Since most clubs have gone to releasing a new home shirt every season, its made it tough for the manufacturers to come up with something new that would appease traditionalists and those that would like to see more change.

I quite like the "new" City shirt tbh. But it defeats the purpose of actually releasing new kits when they will be so similar to the previous years' one.

I get what your saying, but there is tough, and can't be bothered. Two of the recent offerings:

And that's aside from the blatant lack of effort from adiddas for the Chelsea and Liverpool kits a couple of years back which were identical apart from colour and crest.

The Chelsea and Bayern Munich for next season are pretty identical. The munich has a different pattern woven through it which is hard to see in the photos.

there's a thread here on who designs/decides on the jerseys club or manufacturer

basically reckon the manufacturer shows the clubs templates, then they choose

all clubs are wearing pretty much the same thing, just different colours
look at this seasons arsenal, barca & juve's jerseys from nike - all round neck
then everton, athletico madrid & brazil's (old one now) from nike too - have collars & the block colours at the bottom of the sleeve

next seasons arsenal away & juve away both have collars & the buttons go down the front a good bit

they're all the same thing practically, you might get something to make them unique like the bavaria flag design (diamonds) pattern on new bayern jersey shown above

even back in the 90's that man u shirt with the laces, ipswich had that too

Is every red and white striped team in England going to have Adidas as their manufacturer? First Stoke, then Sunderland and now Saints. Pity Southampton aren't sticking with Umbro, the 12-13 home shirt was my favourite in the Prem

Umbro failed to even put proper stripes on the 12/13 jersey
Adidas will sort that out. I guess that's the ad is about.

It's the logo of Vizcaya province, where Bilbao is situated, it 's an oak leaf.
