Not great, very plain also. The away is ok but the home is poor imo. Warrior arent exactly setting the footie world alight with their kits. The 2 home kits they done for us so far have been nice, last seasons one was a bit plain but this seasons is nicer but the rumoured 2nd and 3rd kits this season are diabolical. Last seasons away was ok and the 3rd was woeful.

I like both those Sevilla shirts, far better than anything theyve had lately and last seasons Liverpool 3rd is lovely.

I like plain and simple jerseys, but this seems bit like a top you would buy in Penny's.

Yeah I'm on their mailing list for press releases and *almost* replied asking when the real shirts were being released.

They've really made a balls of their contracts so far.

The official line from Warrior regarding the Pool away kit -
Channeling direction from breakthrough patterns and graphics featured throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Warrior’s core inspiration behind the new design stems from the Club’s white and red 1981 League Cup-winning kit.

Head of Warrior Football Richard Wright says the brand worked closely with Liverpool FC throughout the design process.

“We believe we have produced an away kit which stays true to the Club’s heritage but has a fresh look and feel. It has been particularly helpful having LFC involved in the process, emphasising the relevance of past kits which has helped us to design a strip fans will identify with.”

Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool FC manager, agrees.

“A football strip fuses a team together; it is a Club’s uniform for players and fans. The fact that glimpses of the Club’s history appear in this kit is a really nice touch from Warrior,” said Rodgers.

Primarily white and black with elements of red, the overall kit carries a strong traditional look. The graduation of colour from the shirt down into the shorts and socks sparks strong interactivity between the three components.

Beyond the traditional colour scheme, the neckline has been reworked to give the shirt a modern edge, while an eye-catching diamond print draws attention to its bottom half. Originally featured as part of the 1989/91 away version, the dynamic pattern is a refreshed interpretation of the detailed graphic.

“I like that this strip is different, the pattern and colours are fresh. It looks and feels great on and I can’t wait to wear it next season,” said Liverpool FC forward Daniel Sturridge.

In line with the new home kit, contrast detailing features on each sleeve. A fully embroidered Liver Bird crest sits on the shirt’s front, while two commemorative Eternal Flames and a 96 logo are prominently positioned on the back of the neck.

Designed using War-Tech, Warrior’s groundbreaking apparel technology system, the away kit is powered by breathable, moisture-wicking War-Tech fabric. Four-way stretch mesh paneling under the arms and across the back of the shirt facilitates optimum ventilation while allowing for added comfort and temperature control in core heat areas.

Fans are encouraged to weigh in with their feedback about the new away kit by connecting with Warrior Football on Twitter using the hashtag, #RiseUpLFC

Not sure that encouraging feedback is the best thing for them to do in this case :pac:

The simple Liverbird Crest is a totally satisfactory way of remembering the clubs history. Not these two new kits.

Have to say I'm glad warrior are pushing the boat out and trying new things with the away and third jerseys. Both of their home jerseys have been fantastic. Nothing wrong with either. Solid designs and RED.

If we were still with Adidas we would most likely have a red home strip with 3 white stripes. A white away kit with 3 red stripes. And a black third kit with 3 yellow stripes.

Yawn. And we would be wearing the same jersey as some other team. Look at the utd jersey/England jersey above for example.

A good point but a bad example. United are actually one of the very few Nike teams (literally only Barcelona, France, Netherlands, Arsenal, Juventus, Werder Bremen and PSG) who get special templates for themselves, whereas the rest have settle for different colour schemes and the same teamwear templates- Everton home is identical to new Greek home, new Atletic Bilbao home is the same as Malaga home but with red and blue swapped, for example.

The jerseys above are actually slightly different - the United shirt has buttons at the front of the collar, with a check design underneath, and England's doesn't. Admittedly it's not much difference!

them clubs you listed don't get special templates i think

look at last seasons barca, juve arsenal & this seasons arsenal away & juve away

they're all the same thing with different colour schemes
there might be a very slight difference, like your man u/england example but they're practically the same thing

Below is a list of Umbro club sponsorships from Wiki.
Interestingly enough there is only one English club who have their kits made by Umbro at present and that will only come into effect in August when Cheshire club Stockport make the switch. Stockport are currently in the Sixth tier of English football

Ironically they have done a reverse and made the move from Nike to Umbro. I really hope the few British brands like Umbro and Admiral can make a resurgence in the years ahead especially now that Umbro are free from the shackles of imagination-less Nike (That said the PSV shirt is savage)

Quite a poor standard of team they seem to be sponsoring at club level. I know Nike took alot away from them, but when Rubin Kazan is the best team you sponsor (and by some distance) its not a good sign.

The likes of Macron and Errea seem to have passed them out with regards to the quality of teams they are manufacturing for.

Nike seem to be the Kit and Leisure sponsor. Avec are the training kit sponsor.

That's a massive fall from grace for Umbro considering that they used to sponsor the likes of England, Man Utd, Brazil, Inter, Chelsea, etc once upon a time.

They still make some the the nicest kits and training gear around and I'd much prefer them to Macron, for example, who produce some of the tackiest gear in football.

Mike Ashley is involved in the Iconix Brand Group which bought Umbro from Nike. it might be a reason everyone's jumping ship
