I am having a lot of trouble finding the above size door.

I need a clear opening of 825 mm(wheelchair access) so need a door 3 foot wide.

But my old doors are 6 foot 6 high so need a 78 inch x 36 inch door.

It seems like no one does a them as standard so anyone I have talked to says they are very expensive at this size.

    Could anyone advise?

    Regards

    John

    Hi
You can buy a 7' x 3' blank fire door and cut it down. Most good builder merchants would have them in stock.

If you have trouble finding one let me know. I can source one for you. What part of the country are you ?

A 78" by 33" is a readily available size door in northern Ireland, and available ex stock in a number or styles in most decent merchants....
