Yeah the temptation to press those links. Christ.

I'd rather not have the game potentially spoiled for myself - sorry if that bugs you dude

    No chance I'm clicking that.

Emm what? Hence the reason why I'm fighting the temptation. Did you assume I was being sarcastic over the tone of my one line post?

You're right too! As much as I'm mad for info, I'm really glad there's been almost zilch 2 weeks before launch. Just looking over the settlement build feature again and for an optional part of the game, it looks absolutely class.

I just wish they'd release info on Fallout 3 coming to the XB1.

If I could pre-order the game and use the code, the wait would fly by. :(.

Now with the NXOE confirmed for the 12th, I'm thinking that 3 won't be coming before 4 is released... :(

I wish they had released this in the lead-up

I am thinking about doing one more FO3 play-through but don't fancy digging out the 360

Yeah sorry, seemed like the tone from the previous posts was heading in that direction - my bad, sorry :)

Ok, time to shame myself: I just preordered Fallout 4 last night, having never gotten past the first two hours of a Fallout game before, not because of difficulty either.

The worst part is I still own Fallout 3 and NV and haven't even given them a fair chance. So I'm getting started on Fallout 3 today, having seen it gather dust in my game collection since Christmas 2008 (yes, that long).

    Don't judge me!

Sorry, judged. But seriously I definitely recommend at least putting a few hours into Fallout 3. It will really allow you to appreciate Fallout 4 more.

Man, I'd love to be starting up Fallout 3 for the first time. Perfect 2 weeks leading up to 4!

Yeah I know it's bad alright, but when I got out of the vault in Fallout 3 I just got a bit overwhelmed with the freedom, and though, "ah fcuk where do I even begin", then turned it off for the evening, said "right, I'll get properly started on this tomorrow" and proceeded to go off with me bag of cans for the evening (which sounds bad until you realise I was in fact not an alcoholic, just not old enough to be served in a pub at the time).

I regret it so much, because between the hangover the next day and all the bullshît family socialising around Christmas time, I never got back to it, and I was surprised with a PS3 for Christmas so I was glued to that for the next year, while I had FO3 for the Xbox. Didn't help matters that the Xbox broke some time later, but even when it was replaced, I still never got around to it again. :(

    Judge you?!

I'm bloody jealous of you. I'd love to experience Fallout 3 all over again!

    Enjoy it!

I don't get why people play a previous game in a series leading up to a latest release. It think it would feel way to similar and i could see myself easily getting burned out on the newest game when it releases. I'm currently working through my backlog and coming close to finishing Farcry 4 and there is no way im going to play an FPS, open world or a ubisoft game after, it would have to be radically different.

    Anyone else feel me?

Yeah I start playing New Vegas a little recently but felt like that too. If I played it too much, 4 wouldn't feel as fresh, new & exciting for me so I haven't really bothered playing anymore.

I have the feeling right now like you get when your favourite tv show ends. Nothing else will be quite as good so you end up watching nothing :o

Was thinking the exact same. Remember getting it on impulse knowing zero about it. Put it on at 8pm and it was 4am when I looked at the clock again :)

Started Fallout 3 again when the news of this broke. Put in 80 hours and then dropped it back in July. Was nice to revisit but I'm glad I didn't play it right up to the release of this.

I never EVER wanted their to be Online MP in the Fallout games but It would be class to login and attack someones settlement and take parts for yourself.

Same here - It was the first game I got with my Xbox 360

I remember putting in 12 hour days on the weekends during college

I don't know how I'm going to find much time to put into this one what with job and responsibilities and such :(

Only finished Fallout 3 this week with all the DLC. Started on New Vegas yesterday so have a serious 2 week grind ahead of me! :D

As far as I know they only offer delivery of pipboy edition to UK addresses as it's such a bulky & heavy item that the post would cost too much for them outside of UK and it wasn't worth their effort as they'd sell them out anyway.

I'm sticking with PM for mine anyway.
