    Hi,
Would anyone be able to tell me where would I be able to get a block of wood, about 210x300x40 mm? Would I be able to get something like that in B&Q or woodies?
    Thanks for all the help
    M

If there is a local place that makes windows/doors, you might get it for nothing, I have done this a few times, if it was hard wood I would have no problem paying for it, but it would be a fraction of the cost if you were to go to a DIY shop,

also if you were nice about it they would trim it to the exact size you need.

If you're in dublin try DBOR in baldoyle industrial estate they usually have off cuts laying around and they would be able to cut to size. you can expect to pay for it though. Best of luck!
