Eastenders all they do in that is constant roaring and moaning at each other, aren't there enough depressing thing in life besides watching that?

ITV showed Fair City in the early 1990s. And Glenroe too.

That must have been some awful moggy Maeve wouldnt adopt with her ex but had no problem being saddled with Ben as a stepkid a couple of months back.

That family Ama are staying with are just comedy gold, RTE should consider a spin off series

    They did...

"Upwardly mobile" Paul and Niamh move next door to the upper class family, hilarity ensues.

Who ever is writing the alma story line should be sacked right away .. In a big FC fan but its embarrassing

Mrs McCormack throws a good smack. If herself and Goo Eyes ever meet it could be love at first sight.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,668 ✭✭✭nlgbbbblth

Where is Goo Eyes meant to be from? Limerick? Instant cult figure.

Mrs McCormack has got a certain charm.

Meh... she's a bit plain and...... old.

I didn't get the impression this family would be a part of the long-term cast. I'm not sure how they would integrate them.

How much of a nightmarish place is Alma from where she would choose being kept as a virtual prisoner/slave and getting touched up by the boss rather then get deported

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,313 ✭✭✭✭Sam Kade

Damo has stolen sledge hammers catch phrase and he is every bit as predictable as him :D

Wire me €4.00 each and i will get a campaign going.

When Ama was rubbing her face in the toilet, was she rubbing the opposite side to which she got hit?

  • Registered Users Posts: 86,770 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Why is Maeve back? She isn't with Dermot anymore and was never good mates with Orla and now all of sudden they are

Does Sean live in Sarah's house by himself, how is he affording it and why can't Paul let him stay in one of his flats?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭nice_very

oh just ffs, we all know the mccormacks "type" but this is just so over acted, I mean his accent and the cliche alko wife... treating Ama like dirt, rte cop fa duck on. free spirit is back with a flimsier storyline than the storyline of flimsy mcflims in the summer of 97, really rte? ahh spose cutbacks had to be made to send "journalists" to rome to see white smoke.... bong, bong, bong, bong, bong...............

    Terrible character. Just awful.

  • Registered Users Posts: 544 ✭✭✭Long Room Hubba

Sean is so naive, complaining that Maeve shagged off without paying the ESB. Doesn't he know free spirits don't need electricity? They get their energy from crystals and feng shui and chanting at the moon.

Damien should lure Ama out of the house by leaving a trail of handbags down the drive.
