If Ama takes 'Declan's' eye then a battle with Damien is on the cards.

I think she'd be a better girlfriend for either of the Bishops than for Damien. There's no spark between them at all. And Damien versus the Bishops would be good crack. They had a few run-ins about Mark before, so there's bad blood already.

Someone suggested that Damien has PTSD. I had that in mind watching the last couple of episodes, and I think it's spot on. He's on a very short fuse. When he tackled Zumo in the park it looked like he was aching to beat someone up.

Indeed and it's not just Damo whose afflicted. About 450 million people worldwide suffer from some form of mental disorder or brain condition, and one in four people meet criteria at some point in their life. Moreover to the trained medical eye there are many obvious symptoms of psychiatric afflictions present in the closeted community of Carrickstown. For example their continuous frequenting of McCoys house of substance abuse in every episode reveals that almost all the residents suffer from various forms of substance abuse ranging from alcohol to heroin. (eg Anthony Farrell and his moll Carol) Also judging by the wild personality changes of almost all of the characters I humbly suggest in my professional opinion that most of these characters are suffering from various forms of bipolar disorders. (eg Paul Brennan). Most of the cast clearly suffer from the Histrionic Personality Disorder clearly visible by their overly emotional and dramatic acts in order to call attention to themselves. And the list goes on and on and on.......

If I was to set up my psychiatric practice among this bunch of absolute loony's I would make an absolute fortune in no time at all.

How do you know you're not suffering from over-diagnosis disorder and overly-prescriptive syndrome yourself? The sufferer believes they are seeing disorders and syndromes that are not there but merely a normal variation on common human behaviour/emotion.

Very interesting.... Indeed I am particularly partial to the making of a diagnosis when I encounter strange behaviour but I suppose that is my job as a psychiatrist after all! Verily I could write a trilogy of books on the strangely afflicted souls dwelling within Carrickstown such is the vast quantities of raw material available.

But now I would like to pose some questions to you......
    • Do you shop too much? (You could be suffering from Compulsive Shopping Disorder)
    • Do you have a difficult time with multiplication? (You could be suffering from Dyscalculia)
    • Do you spend too much time at the gym? (Perhaps you should see someone for your Bigorexia or Muscle Dysmorphia)
    • Are your terrified by the number 13? (You could have, wait for it,......... Triskaidekaphobia)
But do not fret....help is at hand...armed with my trusty mobile ECT unit I can banish your afflictions in the blink of an eye.;)

I liked that post where someone said something like:

Carol: You're very relaxed and calm all the time aren't you? (Carol was noting this when she was dying for a cigarette).
Farrell: That's cause I'm off my face on heroin!

thats the post I referred to earlier...

So after all that Yvonne has openly stated she will use this as permanent leverage and Farrell is just going along with it? Something isn't adding up here. Surely Farrell should just tell Carol that Yvonne caught him with cocaine or something and he feels terrible and he's sorry (without Yvonne knowing), or at least come to some sort of agreement for what Yvonne would do and when they would be left alone.

    Random thought..

The Bishops are a brilliant family. The lad that plays Decco is doing a great job. Paddy is the man too. Hope he stays.

Good to see ordinary lads like Zumo/Decco getting full time jobs in the acting biz.

    Hope for us all. :)

Now that you ask Gibbonw2 I am in fact a medical specialist who diagnoses, treats and prevents all manner of mental health conditions including amnesia. My main goal is to improve the mental well-being of my patients including those suffering from amnesia. Some people call be a "shrink" but I will always be the peoples psychiatrist. :D

Yvonne tells Farrell that her plan is for Carol to lose custody of Jack.
Louie has offered Yvonne ownership of McCoys if she can get him Jack

So Carol throws a major hissy fit over a five minute video call, but a few months ago she had her grubby paw out for maintenance.

It's not exactly reasonable behaviour from her.

    I'm declaring for team Yvonne!!
