I hope that Louie does return. I think I remember Chloe, but not Avril.

Chloe was part of a girl band called Supernova managed by a boyfriend of Carol (just immediately after the Billy Meehan story). Not of course to be mixed up with Cleo Collins.

Avril was part of a special storyline that involved Seamus McAleer, Mondo and McAleer's daughter Lauren. You can read it here:

Thank you very much. I remember some of the characters, but not that actual storyline. It would be nice if Mondo came back too, or if they would even mention him occasionally. I had forgotten that Ray had a son & grandchild.

Dolores arrives as Doug is about to leave with a message from Paul about a mechanic job in Athlone for Doug - he starts tomorrow. Pete is emotional as he waves Doug off to a new future and a job.

Another FC mention of a character being exiled alongside the rest of the Athlonians yet again.

    From next Thursday spoilers -
Rachel's anxiety grows about the upcoming school year, and she asks Callum to share with baby Rachel so that she can have space to study. When Callum refuses, Rachel is dead set on reclaiming her room, but she gains little sympathy from Niamh who seems to be unaware of her anxiety. Later, Paul laughs at Rachel's attempts to get ahead of her school work over the summer. As Niamh and Paul enjoy a burger in The Hungry Pig, they discuss Rachel's exam anxiety, putting it down to attention seeking.
You can bet the baldy dickhead would treat it more seriously if it was his precious son Callum

With Neasa's attitude continuing to cause a problem, Luke threatens to sell his share in the business if the situation doesn't improve. However, Neasa launches into a venomous attack on Luke and she hands in her notice at The Station. Afterwards, Luke offers the manager's job to Caoimhe and she jumps at the opportunity, much to Neasa's annoyance. Judith appeals to Neasa to reconsider as she is unsure about Caoimhe's ability to run things, but Neasa begrudgingly refuses. She disowns her family and the business when asked to reconsider.

Later, Tommy and Neasa have a heart-to-heart and he tries to apologise for worrying her. However, Neasa is not swayed. She decides that she wants nothing to do with her family and she warns Tommy to stay away from her.

Meanwhile, Leo is desperate for more time to repay his loan to Paul. Paul refuses to extend his repayments and forces Leo's hand. Leo asks Carol for a loan which she rebuffs, insulted that that he asked. Later, Leo takes drastic steps when he decides to sell Zumo's stock of cigarettes that he was storing for Tommy in order to raise the cash to pay Paul back.

Elsewhere, Esther gets a rude awakening when her European film night turns a shade of blue

Judith suggests that there is nothing standing in the way of her and Luke heading for Canada, which is music to Luke's ears. Judith and Luke call on Tommy because Judith has something she needs to say to him. Tommy thinks that she is there to sort out the mess with Neasa, but is taken by surprise when she announces that they are going back to Canada and she wants a divorce. Tommy is critical of Judith's timing and venomously criticises her mothering skills.

Later, Tommy's harsh words play on Judith's mind as she questions her decision to move to Dublin away from her children all those years ago. Confiding in Luke, Judith's vulnerability shows when she is fearful that she has lost the possibility of a relationship with her children forever.

Meanwhile, when Val becomes suspicious over his behaviour, Leo gives in and lets her in on his secret. Val is astonished that Leo has been driven to steal from Zumo, but he begs her to keep quiet about the whole thing. Later, Leo finds out that Zumo will be back in the country tomorrow, so he stages a break-in at the factory building.

Elsewhere, Rachel receives a short-lived boost, while a humiliated Charlie and Esther are out for Carol.

Zumo is livid when he discovers that the factory has been broken into and his cigarettes robbed. Zumo confronts Leo, accusing him of robbing his merchandise. Leo is shaken but sticks to his guns, pleading ignorance when Zumo vows to hurt him if he had anything to do with it. However, Carol later lands Leo in deep water as she inadvertently tells Zumo that he has been selling cigarettes. Zumo stakes out Leo's house and once Leo has left, he calls to the door and forces his way in. Shannon is concerned when Zumo starts searching the house.

Later, Leo is furious when he hears that Zumo barged his way into the house and he tries to reassure a scared Shannon. Zumo lures Leo into a laneway, where he grabs him and warns him that he knows he stole the cigarettes. When Leo admits that he sold the lot, Zumo threatens him with a violent ambush and says he must pay up.

Meanwhile, Paddy tries to wheedle back into Charlie and Esther's affections. Esther makes an excuse when Paddy invites them over for dinner Saturday and also snubs his offer to share dinner with himself and Vivienne on Sunday. However, Charlie is commandeered by Paddy as he talks him into getting Esther to change her mind about dinner on Sunday. Charlie is put out when Paddy suggests that Esther wears the trousers in the relationship, pushing Charlie into accepting his offer on their behalf.

Elsewhere, Luke suggests that Judith should sell Tommy's house in order to get the ball rolling for their relocation to Canada. He also threatens Tommy to play ball concerning the house sale or risk losing Zak, who he threatens to take with them to Canada.

Also today, Val's community spirit comes to the fore.

Neasa pleads with Tommy to move on from Judith. She says that he has to stop deluding himself and accept that his marriage is over. Soon afterwards, Judith is stunned when Tommy shows up at work and says that he will agree to the divorce. Upset at the news, an emotional Judith leaves and bumps into a jubilant Luke, who is told the news.

Later, Luke discovers that Neasa was not at an interview at his friend's recruitment agency and when Caoimhe sees an email on Neasa's computer about her plans to move to America, they figure out she plans to leave. Caoimhe is upset and when she challenges her on it, Neasa goes on the defensive about her snooping. Luke is secretly delighted that she is leaving, but Caoimhe is upset.

Towards the end of the day at The Station, Luke is smarmy and tries to get a rise out of Tommy by saying that he wishes he had drank himself to death the night of the accident. Tommy is staggered and he drops the drinks in shock as Luke's words bring back memories of that night. He rushes out and reveals to Neasa that Luke was there the night of his accident, with the words "Drink yourself to death" triggering his memory of the night...

Meanwhile, Zumo wants Leo to store and deliver his stolen goods as he is now indebted to him. He threatens to call the hoods whose cigarettes he stole and suggests that they won't want money but revenge, not only on him but on his family. Left with little other choice, Leo is left at Zumo's beck and call. Zumo tells Leo that his first job for him is tomorrow, and when he asks about what he is delivering, Zumo reiterates that he is on a need to know basis.

Elsewhere, Val is upset as her call to arms to the community goes unheeded

It is a shame. They get a great character, with the potential for great storylines...and they send him away.

Put Bella, Charlie, Cass and Esther on a bus to Athlone...and just send the Dillon's to Mars...please!

Raging that Doug has gone, come on FC writers he has only gone to Athlone. Surely Dolly could ask him up for the Sunday dinner
