    Great episode in fairness.

I liked Lukes last dig at Tommy saying "Its going to blow" I sure he often said that to Judith :pac:

When it first began you had all these critics and naysayers saying it was a hopeless endeavour, that RTE could never handle a soap multiple days a week, that it would be a dismal failure and flop. How right they were!

Well done to all envolved in last nights Fair City, cast and crew. It was a very good episode. I really enjoyed it. Maybe a little disappointing insofar as we all guessed that it would be Luke who would die - no shock death. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the aftermath of the fire & what they will do with the building ie the burned out factory. Bring back Louie, the pub needs it's landlord and a revamp. Keep up the good work Fair City.

I hated every long drawn out moment in the Judith/Tommy/Luke story, but I was surprised how sad I felt watching Luke at the end of the episode. He shoulda' kept on driving.

But they have to set up Ama now as the ultimate loving and concerned gf to get maximum impact out of Damiens infidelity. He cheated on a woman who considered herself closer than family!

My favourite bit was Tommy hanging back for no apparent reason in the burning building while flames licked the chipboard corridor he was taking a breather in.
That was Fair City at it's finest, they wouldn't even go to the bother of creating a vaguely plausible reason why he might remain there,no injury, no obstacle, just taking a little rest until someone came to get him.

I felt it would have been better as an hour long episode. Some parts were all a bit rushed.

My mum had a fall recently and had to go to hospital. They wouldn't allow anyone to go in the ambulance with her. Might be different procedures depending on what part of the country you're in.

I expect the Dillons will be getting to what passes for normality now.

Earlier in the episode Yvonne Doyle was seemed more upset saying goodbye to luke than she has been about any of her own family in long time

    Yep....

That was some mighty fine wailing from the Dillon women.

I could just imagine the two actresses when the director shouted 'cut' congratulating each other on a great scene in true luvvie style.

For some reason, I now feel like a ham sandwich.

So will we need psychiatrists and counselling for Tommy....since he left his brother to die under a mattress, sorry wooden beams, and did feck all to help him, except say sorry, then legged it...The cad.

Tommy will be traumatised with guilt for this, and should be too.

Until he gets back in the sack with Judy that is.

    There may be trouble ahead!

Looking forward to seeing Paul going mental when the Dillons take the house off the market.

    Excellent, never thought if that.
First he loses the factory, now the house, it's all falling apart for him. Cue more 'woe is me crap' from Paul

Judith's particularly was like music to my ears, something just felt so right about it. So much better than her usual grating voice, she should talk like that all the time.
