New storylines needed a.s.a.p. or even some kind of disaster which claims the lives of some of the dead wood.

Flynn to blow up Chariot's office or Community Centre

Stephen stole the show yet again tonight with a magical performance behind the bar in McCoys. Hitchens, using Stephen as a Ted Bundy type mass murderer in Fair City would be a total waste of the talents of Stephen. Make no mistake about it with Stephen in charge of McCoys many interesting opportunities and storylines would emerge.

Did nobody notice the little sign saying "Get mugged " right behind Sean in "The Hungry Pig " as he spoke to Christy ? Ironic or what?

Paddy bishop = Liam Neeson gone very wrong.

What he does have are a very particular set of skills, skills he acquired over a very long incarceration. Skills that make him a nightmare for people like Vivienne. If she lets his daughter visit now, that'll be the end of it. He will not look for her, he will not pursue her with a cut-throat razor. But if she doesn't, he will look for her, he will find her, and he will cut off that bit of blonde hair at the back of her head.

He invested €100,000. He lost it all. I think he took some of Dolores money too. He's brainless.

"Skills" isn't quite the word that comes to mind. I'd say he is one of Billy Meehan's relations. The family tree of the Bishops would be very interesting.

He's like a taller version of Billy Meehan. The fact that he looks so harmless is probably what will make him so dangerous - his storylines could be interesting.

If ever there was to be a serial killer in FC it has to be either Christy or that clown Tommy - both reasonably unassuming and harmless looking but underneath a seething cauldron of repressed weirdness and agro.

On second thoughts maybe just Christy - they seem to want to make Tommy a quasi-Christian Grey. *goes all queasy*

what about Christy's brother Hughie, secretly living in the broom cupboard of the Community Centre and only ventures out when Carrigstown is asleep? :P
