I purchased the above below for recessed lighting in the living room.

    link

I have walls on opposite sides of the room that I want the light to be on. I have cut the strip to length on 1 side of the room and connected it up and it is working properly. I now want to connect the light on the other side of the room.

I purchased the item below to join the 2 strips. On it there is a note to reverse connections. I tried doing this but it didnt' work. I also tried connecting it in the opposite direction and again this didn't work

Has anyone any experience with these units?

Got it for 100 new on eBay. Lot more expensive in normal suppliers I think

did you cut the strip on the designated cut line.
also, what driver are you using?
the driver supplied might only have the capability to run one strip.
