I am making a dog bed (wood) and am looking for bedding. Where could I get material and foam etc suitable for dogs ? I can use a sowing machine and would like to make it myself. A friend said there was somewhere in the uk that sells dog suitable material by the meter but I would rather buy in Ireland if I could, any advise would be appreciated.

A single duvet is an easy source, cut and stitch to the right size.

Vet bedding is bloody fantastic, it is expensive to buy but it lasts forever and can be washed over and over. Most large pet stores sell it, you can usually get it at dog shows for cheaper though, and it is readily available online. If you buy enough to layer it up, it is super soft and squishy and will keep the dog very cozy.
