money back in bank account

i bought something online from france last thursday.
checked my bank account on friday and the money was taken out.
was checking my bank account earlier today and now the money is back in it.
not only is it back in it but there is no evidence of a transaction at all.
the item i bought was sent as i have a tracking no. for it.
anyone know what's the story?

What did you do? And did you receive your purchase?

I've just faced the same issue. I read that sometimes banks reverse charges or update transactions in their system, but I'm not sure this is my case.
