Best and most inspirational vocal performances. Live is better imo. I'm a rock fan usually, but this is my video of the day, she's incredible.

Of the many performances that I'd love to have witnessed, I think The Three Tenors' performance of Nessun Dorma in 1990 would easily be up in my top 3.

Forget Paul Potts and all that X-Factor/Britain's Got Talent crap. This is the only version that you ever need to listen to. Well this and Jussi Björling's.

I never like Christina Aguilera or other singers who shout/ belt- for me shouting≠singing.

These are my favourite live vocal performances:

Britney's voice is simply magical.

Kate Bush packed ten times more emotion into her voice in this song than any phony marketing puppet like Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera could do in their entire career. Nobody else can touch this. Gives me goosebumps every time.

The late Layne Staley had a great voice. He was a man who could scream in tune while also being able to tackle slow songs in a melodic way. AIC's 'Man in the Box' is probably he's greatest moment vocally.

Apart from being a rock and roll nirvana for over 9 minutes, the vocals at 6:50 are sublime. Would have loved to go to the Tokyo 92 gig, but being 11 at that time I wasn't much interested
