Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPad 4 and LTE Compatibility

Simple question. If I buy an iPad 4 Retina with wifi and 3G here in Ireland , when Vodafone or whoever launch it will it be capable of doing LTE speeds or do I need to wait for a newer model or buy a different model? No point in coughing up 700 for one that will not do the higher speeds then? I'm just a bit lost as it doesn't list Ireland on the apple site but I would imagine that's only because the networks haven't launched LTE yet?

    Many thanks

I rang apple and yer man hasn't a clue. He said it would be a few years before LTE in Ireland. The reason I wanted the sim version is for travelling in Oz and USA. I will be holding my Irish bill pay mobile number in the iPhone which won't have data access and will have the freedom to select any carrier not what my iPhone or mobile provider dictates. They're paying the extra for wifi and 3G;)
