Dublin to Kinnegad and back public transport

Hi, Just wondering how to get to Kinnegad from Dublin by public transport and back to Dublin in the same evening? Prob leaving Dublin about 6 o clock, is there a train station there? Do buses to Galway stop in Kinnegad and could one get back later in the evening approx 9-10 o clock? Thanks in advance
