Talk to forums ignoring my skin

For example, clicking on a blackknight thread from the front pages, uses a link like: http://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2056846671 this seems to completely ignore my default skin and appear like touch.boards.ie on my phone(GSIII). Most threads clicked are of the form: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056854905…

Most threads clicked are of the form:
http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056854905
and use the skin.

Currently happening on Chrome, Version 23.0.1271.97 m on windows XP.
Have noticed it on chrome on Win 8 as well.
