"Powling" Event - Want to come? :D

This will be my first event for 2013, and it is a night in the Mardyke where we can play bowling or pool (or both). The Mardyke also has a bar and food for anyone interested in eating and drinking.

Poll is up so please vote for what night(s) you prefer and which activity - if you want both then vote for both options (but on the same night).

Perhaps but I guess a small crowd is bigger than no crowd.

I am no longer free on Saturday which means that Friday is now the most popular date with 5 votes (6 including queentut).

So for everyone who chose Friday, still free? Shall we say 8pm ?

Thats it in my case anyway, was out a fair bit at christmas and had weddings as well and an engagement party next week, so going out anymore this month isnt on the cards for me.

However feb i should be ok for whatever.

To be honest..If it's a small crowd,,We'd be happy to meet and just have a few beers,,and a good laugh.

Could keep the "powling" until there's a bigger gathering.

I might be able to make it but I'm working a 12 hour shift til half 8 so we'll see!

So based on feedback this event is taking place at 8pm this Friday in the Mardyke

There are almost even numbers for both bowling and pool.

I think the best plan is that we turn up and decide there and then if we play bowling, pool or both. Having said that though I do not intend on pre-booking pool / bowling as I don't want to end up out of pocket.

If you are new (or don't have my number) then send me a private message and I'll exchange numbers with you so that we can find you on the night.

Fri 25th - Bowling

making up your minds when you get there will turn into half an hour of everyone standing around not making any decisions. always happens when choosing a pub to go to.
you'd be better off picking now - and possible calling the mardyke to see if there are any events on there. i went one friday night to have the place booked out by 3 UCC societies
i may or may not be there, ill be in the area at 7:30 but may be wrecked so if i show up you'll see me
i wont be bowling if thats the decision anyway.

So I won't be able to make it tonight. Working in A&E so won't be out til half 8 at the earliest. And to be honest with the day I'm having all I want is my bed! Hope ye have a great night whatever ye end up doing anyway
