Well mine do anyway, it's ME!!!!!!

Or at least that's what I've been telling my siblings for the last 20 years anyway.

You will often hear parents say that they love their children equally, but the truth is that some are more equally loved than others.

Lots of references to first born sons here, do many men still feel that way do you think (or is it the mammy's that feel that way)? I'm pregnant with our first and husband would love a girl - doesn't get why so many men really want a son first to carry on their name etc. I'm wondering does that still go on?

Heh, funny that no-one considers themselves the favourite. I know in our family, i consider the eldest brother the favourite. But he considers the youngest son the favourite. And that son considers me the favourite... So I think it's just a giant inferiority complex of everyone thinking everyone else is the favourite.

I would be very disappointed if my son thought he was the favourite and equally disappointed if my daughters thought he was the favourite.

My youngest sister is my mother's favourite. They are very similar people. I remember her telling another guest that she was her favourite on my sister's wedding day.

I have three and my favorite is they one who is best behaved, causing least trouble at the time.
